Phil G here. This Saturday, 1/25, I will play a three part show:

First, a montage of Madison Square Garden encores that *might* have a subtext.

Secondly, a selection from the David Nelson band from December 2024, which *might* have a subtext.

Thirdly, selections from 2/3/79 in Indianapolis, one of only two shows where they Played China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider, Scarlet Begonias> Fire on The Mountain, and Estimated Prophet>Eyes of the World in the same show. And you, lucky listener(s) will get to hear all of it! No subtext here, just great jams.

Remember, your support of KBOO Community Radio allows us to brign you this great music!

75% of the radio dial is controlled by just a few corporations. KBOO Community Radio is independent radio and has hosted Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Kush for 19 years and counting. That would never happen on corporate radio. Independent media is important and necessary. Tune in Tuesdays 10-midnight Pacific at KBOO.FM online and 90.7 FM in Portland. Archived for anytime listening.

Sadly, Phil Lesh no longer makes music. Luckily, prior to his death last October 25th, he left an utterly gargantuan catalog of recorded live performances, both with The Grateful Dead and afterward in various iterations, with his, and other bands.
