MILLIONAIRE MOCKS POOR WOMAN WITH 3 KIDS ON BUSINESS CLASS FLIGHT UNTIL PILOT INTERRUPTS HIM
"Ugh! You can't be serious! Are you really making her sit here?!" Louis Newman grumbled as he noticed a mother-of-three approaching his seat.
"I'm sorry, sir," the stewardess replied gently. "These seats have been assigned to Mrs. Debbie Brown and her children, and we can't do anything about it."

I FIXED A FRANTIC CUSTOMER'S PHONE CAMERA — EIGHT MONTHS LATER, A WOMAN HANDED ME AN ENVELOPE FROM HIM.

I work at a smartphone store where people come in with all sorts of tech-related problems. Nothing usually surprises me — until this one day...

So, I'm at work, just another day at the store, and this guy in his late 40s — let's call him Joe, looking like he's about to lose it — rushes up.

"You've gotta help me! My phone's broken, the camera's all messed up, and I need a good picture right now!"

He shoves his phone at me. His selfies are totally warped — forehead stretched, eyes huge. He's in a full-on panic.

I take a quick look and see it's just a filter. Easy fix. But this guy is SHAKING. You can tell this picture is life-or-death for him. So, I reset the settings and tell him to stand against one of the plain walls in the store. I take a couple of shots, and his face looks normal again.

He checks the pictures, and you'd swear he just won the jackpot! Next moment he bolts out of the store.

Fast forward eight months. I'm on another regular shift when this woman comes up to the counter and says, "Is your name Alex?"

I nod, confused. She hands me an envelope and says, "My husband wanted you to have this."

“Dad?” Susy called out as she pushed open the door to her dad's bedroom.

There was no sign of Paul. The bathroom, the living room, and even the small study—he was nowhere to be found.

She returned to the family in the backyard. Cousins were still chatting near the grill.

"I'm starting to get worried," Susy admitted to Joe, her brother. "Dad is not even answering his phone. This isn't like him."

Joe frowned and glanced around the yard.

"Chill, sis. He asked us to come himself. Let's check the backyard. Maybe he's sitting in his favorite spot."

They began searching, calling for Paul. Finally, they approached the large oak tree at the end of the yard, where Paul always loved to sit all the time.

Susy's heart sank. The chair was empty.

Only a single letter placed on the seat caught her eye. Her hands trembled as she unfolded it.

The words stared back at her, and she felt a tear slip down her cheek.
It was from her dad.

"My beloved family,
If you are reading this letter, then I am no longer alive..."

The woman's eyes filled with tears but James was on a roll, especially when he noticed that her clothes were cheap and old-fashioned and her shoes were very worn.

Peering through the rain-streaked glass, Nikos's eyes widened as he saw a small boat being tossed mercilessly by the waves. His heart raced as he watched it crash onto the rocky shore below.

"Dear God," he muttered, grabbing his coat. "I must check for survivors."

He descended from the lighthouse and staggered through the squall, tripping on the rocky shoreline. His heart pounded in his chest.
