We’re pleased to announce the signing of authors Eve Driver and Tom Osborn.

Eve was a fossil fuel divestment activist from Massachusetts who believed capitalism was at the root of the climate crisis. Tom was a clean energy entrepreneur from a rural village in Kenya who believed an activist approach was idealistic and suspended from the real-world experiences of those facing the worst of the crisis’ effects. Their forthcoming book dives into what it means to fight for friendship and future amid the intense debate around climate change, the Harvard divestment movement, and our collective energy transition that hangs in the balance. Agriculture is a part of spirits production that rarely makes it to the consumer’s eyes. Spirits Distilled is the first graphic guidebook that approaches spirits from this angle: from the ground up. Cocktail and spirits professional Nat Harry guides readers through the raw materials that make up our favorite bottles and the producers who responsibly make them, providing recommendations for first-time drinkers and connoisseurs alike along the way.
