Hey y’all, we took a big step back from the label over the holidays to try to reevaluate our situation and make sure we could still do this taking into consideration some pretty big roadblocks after the fire.

As some of you know we’ve hit some pretty annoying and expensive setbacks trying to restock our catalog on cassette in particular but wanted to give an update regarding open orders:

I know folks that ordered bundles are waiting on cassettes, and we are expecting to ship those in the next 3 weeks along with the remaining orders for tapes.

The few remaining open cassette will be refunded in the meantime, and can be reordered as the titles are restocked. We will be announcing those via socials in the coming months as they are restocked!

If you’re waiting on CDs or shirts, please DM with your order number because those are in stock and shipping now.

Thank you to everyone so much for your continued support since the fire, whether or not you were able to donate. We literally would not have been able to continue to do this without all of your help, and thanks to your generosity, we reached three-quarters of our funding goal on gofundme and have been able to put releases back into motion!

We’re almost back up and running, just waiting on the last few supplies to arrive, as well as moving into a new workspace (this time it’s not our living room!). We’re expecting to become fully functional again over the next 2-4 weeks.

All releases from late 2023 and 2024 are going back in production on cassette and CD. CDs are expected to start shipping in 3-5 weeks, and most cassettes are expected to start shipping in 6-8 weeks (probably, we’re waiting on supplies rn). We’re on track to have the remainder of 2023 records available in the store again this August. Test presses for multiple vinyl releases have either shipped or been approved, including the long-awaited Day Aches vinyl so now we’re making sure all of their soft merch will be printed and ready to ship with those records by July.

This has been an incredibly emotionally and financially draining few months but we couldn’t be more honored that y’all came together to support us through it. There was a few weeks prior to launching the gofundme when we honestly were not sure if we were going to be able to continue doing Really Rad in nearly the same capacity as before, so to see so many people come together to offer us support (monetary or otherwise) was an incredible feeling. As we rebuild Really Rad, we’re doing it with so much gratitude in our hearts for this amazing community.

In other words: We are so back.

As some of you are aware our home and headquarters burned down last month along our inventory. Both new records and back catalog releases spanning our 10 years of operation were lost in the fire not to mention all of our personal belongings.

We’ve created a gofundme to help rebuild and all donations will go towards repressing and general restocking of merch, starting with the most recent arrivals and working backwards. The money raised will also go towards any refunds that customers may place for the destroyed merchandise. We will also be using a small portion of the money to help resupply shipping materials, since all of those were unfortunately lost to the fire as well.

We’re already so close to reaching our goal and we have been absolutely blown away by the generosity everyone in our community has shown to us thus far. But there’s nothing I would love more than to smash this goal so we can get back to posting about the cool stuff we’re doing instead of all the cool stuff we lost. Hey y’all, as some of you may know our apartment caught fire last month, destroying everything we owned both personally and professionally. Thankfully we are fine since we were able to catch it early and get out, but it happened so fast that myself, our creative director Ollie, and our roommate weren’t able to leave with anything important, including our phones, wallets, shoes, or anything else.

We got out of the hospital on Monday the 25th and were reliant on the American Red Cross for shelter and food until we were able to get into contact with family. We have been staying with my family in central Oregon for the past few weeks working on getting new clothes, phones, identification, basically everything.

Luckily we had a small renters insurance policy to get us into a new apartment and back on our feet, but it’s nowhere near enough to cover restocking everything and shipping out orders. It’s with a super heavy heart that we’re resorting to a gofundme, but it seems to be our only option to make good on orders and make sure our artists are still supported.

All donations will go towards repressing and general restocking of merch, starting with the most recent arrivals and working backwards. The money raised will also go towards any refunds that customers may place for the destroyed merchandise. We will also be using a small portion of the money to help resupply shipping materials, since all of those were unfortunately lost to the fire as well.
