I am growing a human & I have learned to accept that 👏🤍 I have never been a huge advocate of using the scale. I've always preferred managing my weight based on progress photos, how my clothes feel, how I feel. But when I first became pregnant, I became pretty obsessed with the scale. At first it was fascinating to see my body change and see t numbers go up, but at a certain point I hated the feeling of not having control of my body. As someone who has spent years getting in the best shape before getting pregnant - this is my tip: Appreciate what your body is doing! Yes, your body is changing. You may be seeing numbers on the scale that seem scary. But here’s the crucial thing to remember: your body is growing a whole freaking HUMAN 👏 It’s easy to feel uncomfortable with a body that feels so foreign. Your boobs grow, your feet swell and you gain weight in different places. But at the end of the day, remind yourself that this is a short ( but feels like long) journey that won't last forever. OPERATION: Flip Breech Baby!! My goal over the next 2 weeks is to get baby to flip into the right position (head down) so we can have a natural birth! ✨ The Forward Leaning Inversion: only do this position if you know your baby is breech - carefully kneel on the edge of your sofa or a bed, tuck your chin and slowly lower yourself down to the ground on your elbows. Stay in this position for as long as comfortable and repeat 3 times. Let's hope it works! 🙏👶🏼🫶 Please be aware I'm not a doctor or nurse. This exercise was suggested to me from another momma who had great success flipping baby. l've decided to do a weekly update for the next 10 weeks as baby girl rapidly grows! She is about 3.5lbs this week and the size of a cabbage. Overall my body is feeling really good, minimal body aches and pains thus far. I've been able to stay active in the gym, strength training 3-4x a week and daily walks with the dogs. Heartburn has kicked into full gear and so has my appetite! Hopefully a quart of strawberries a day, keeps the doctor away.
