Osay Trey A Renaissance artist that can't be placed in a box. Keeping it authentic is the motto. Osay Trey is a hip hop lyricist who writes and performs his own music.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 7th, to a father who was a successful bass player for the band Sun. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dayton, Ohio, and now lives in Portland, Oregon. He recorded his first song at 16 and was inspired by his father's achievements in the music industry. He makes soul music that reflects his feelings and strives for greatness as an artist. He is working on new releases for the future.

I wrote this song almost 2 years ago, I wanted to write something to inspire change. At the end of February, I uploaded this song to SoundCloud for Black History Month not expecting to witness George Floyd be executed by asphyxiation from the pressure of that race soldier's knee on the back of our brother's neck on May 25th, 2020. Of course our agenda to end racism isn't only about George Floyd it's about all of our brother's and sister's who have been murdered with impunity by the system of white supremacy.

Just like all of us I don't know the solution to our race problem all over the globe but I wanted to do something. So I rereleased this song on Spotify to inspire us for this beautiful Juneteenth weekend celebration. I hope u enjoy...
