Getting crazy with the mic technique for a studio drum session.

We got some really cool stairwell reflections on our second room mic that colored the sound in a really interesting, musical way.

First weekend of recording in the (mostly) finished studio space was a huge success! As a producer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than getting to support my cousin .xoxo along her musical journey. After a weekend full of laughter, deep conversations, and connecting over our shared socially awkward tendencies, we have four really killin’ tracks to show for it that we’ll be able to share with you all soon! Huge thanks to .xoxo for making the trip down and to .sanchez for dropping by his beautiful Twinfinity preamp and WA-47 before the session.

All of our work is starting to pay off. Max & I had some auditory revelations at this stage of the build.

After all the research, education, design, planning, construction, and installation, this was a gratifying moment. We put a record on through the system and it was glorious.

We’re almost ready to bring music to the people. And I’m personally more excited than ever.

So today at 6pm we are really excited to be apart of the band Within Dreams first release. We will be releasing two tracks with them, “how” and “path” on all major streaming platforms. This is our first release as a label and we can’t wait to see what you guys think and learn more for future releases.
