Time for a movie marathon. I decided to go with the theme of “Cops/Law Enforcement.”

To be honest, I didn’t realize I had this many movies in my collection based off this theme, but I’m sticking with it.

On a more serious note, I know to some cop movies can be controversial. Personally I have not been the biggest advocate or supporter of law enforcement lately because of the corruption and how many abuse their power (my song selection shares that sentiment). I know not all cops are bad, it’s just unfortunate that the bad ones are more prevalent in the headlines. That said, cop movies can tell great stories filled with suspense, drama, action and even laughs.

Of course not all of these are gems and I may even skip a few but it just goes to show that there are many stories to tell around this profession…a couple of these even speak to corruption.

P.S. I kinda snuck “The Rock” in there. Nic Cage is in the FBI which counts, but honestly I just want to watch Sean Connery.

Ugh…this article has a lot of points. I don’t like Gibson for who he’s become (or rather who he’s been) but I love him in his most iconic roles that I need not even mention. I wish he were a better person or maybe even came out and apologized and righted his own ship. I’m torn. I’ll still watch but I wish/hope Gibson does right.
