😇🎁🤶🏼Adopt An Angel ☃️🎄🎅🏼

The Porterville Recorder is launching its annual Tree of Angels program in which those in the community are given a chance to adopt one – or more – of The Recorder's “Angels,” to give children who are less fortunate a better Christmas.

The community can begin to adopt Angels in the Recorder lobby at 115 E. Oak, the corner of Third and Oak, on Monday Nov. 4, 2024.

Those who adopt an Angel or Angels will need to return their gifts by Monday, December 2.

Information for each Angel will include the child's gender, age, clothing size, any toys the child may want and their school.

Those who would like to donate to the Tree of Angels program or adopt an angel by phone can do so by calling 784-5000. Donations will be used to purchase clothing and toys for our Angels.

The Recorder is also selling Christmas Gift Boxes to benefit its Tree of Angels program. There are 10 per pack in various sizes and the cost is $2 per pack. All proceeds will benefit the Tree of Angels program
