The Story of the Den

When I was twelve years old, my grandparents bought me a record player for Christmas, and my uncle had given me a stack of his old records to spin. I was immediately head over heels for it all, and that passion still holds strong today, well over ten years later. As an avid collector and audiophile, I always wished there was a record store around the area. So, when I finally was able to take a chance and start up my own shop, I was ready to put my heart and soul to it.

The Den has become my way of connecting with people who have the same passion for vinyl records and all things music. My ultimate goal is to provide a place where people can find the artists and albums they love, and discover new music that they may have not found otherwise, and all at an affordable price. From the classics and music legends to new and upcoming artists, the Den strives to help the music community of NWI thrive and prosper. The last three years, I have met amazing people with such heavy passion for the music they love, and that, in itself, makes this so very much worth it. I hope to continue to provide an open and welcoming space for returning and new customers, and help them, as much as possible, in finding the music they love.
