On this day, 80 years ago, brave Americans risked everything to liberate an entire continent.

May we never forget.

🇺🇸 They fell at Gettysburg to preserve The Union and free their neighbors.

🇺🇸 They never returned from the beaches of Normandy in order to liberate a continent.

🇺🇸 They breathed their last in the jungles of Vietnam to stop Communism.

🇺🇸 They fell in the deserts of Iraq to topple a tyrant.

🇺🇸 They gave their lives in the mountains of Afghanistan to prevent 9-11 from ever happening again.

Wishing you and yours a safe Memorial Day weekend. Let us not forget what Monday is all about. May we never forget the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of our great nation.

It’s been said that “the hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.” Few things have as great an influence on our society as the care of a mother.

The Bible has this to say about moms:

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” (Proverbs 31:28-29)

To all the moms out there, thank you. Wishing you a very happy Mother’s Day!
