Thank you so much, Chanticleer Book Reviews & Media, for considering me for the Shelly Awards Short List for Paranormal Fiction! This is a monumental moment for me and my writer's dream. Even if I don't win the award, being looked at and thought of as worthy alongside the other brilliant writers is still world-changing. But I didn't do this alone. I thank my partner and amazing graphic designer, , for the book's art and look. Thanks also go out to my editor, , without whom you'd see every glaring mistake and plot hole and who helped me bring this story together. And thank you to everyone who read this and suggested it to anyone else because, without you, this would just be another dream gathering dust. You may be wondering, "Who does all of your artwork?"

is actually a professional Graphic Designer! She designs book covers because "My vision is so convoluted and discombobulated that I have to do it myself. You've seen the covers." Try to explain that to another human. It would be like, 'I like skulls and dead things, etc., but make it elegant.' That's the kind of descriptors I'm dealing with. I'm not very good at translating the insanity in my brain to another person.
