I’m starting to think I like psychological thrillers now.🤷🏽♀️ I just checked out Johnnard Harper’s film “TWISTED JUSTICE” written by Johnnard Harper and Anthony Leone, starring Ebony Tates, D’Kia Anderson and Antrone Harris. Although a little predictable, it kept my attention because of the story.
This film centers around obsession, betrayal, and revenge from a “seasoned cop” who unexpectedly reconnects with her high school crush during a burglary investigation at his home. This reconnection stirs up some feelings, spiraling her into a dangerous obsession that becomes threatening to his family.

One thing for certain, two things for sure, an island person will say something not intending for it to be funny, but high-key it is. I thought this statement was hilarious.
My platform is a positive space so I’m not too negative, but if I see something not to hot and I think the producer/director will be open to a comment, I’ll have that conversation with them. It’s never “all” not a good movie.

Baby, this movie "Secrets of a Side Chick" is DRAMHHHHHHHMA! Directed by Will Gates and based on the popular novel by Jessica N. Watkins.
The film follows Omari (@thereal_benofficial)a “dedicated” man from Chicago who, despite his long-term relationship with Aeysha (@sarahcigan) gets “entangled” with Simone (@heyiesha). Simone is a mentally challenged (in my opinion) manipulative side chick who schemes to secure Omari’s affection, leading to dramatic and dangerous consequences.
The cast includes Corey A. Brooks as Jimmy, Corin Clay as Ebony, and Twon Cruz as Donte.

Mental Health Matters
Baby you got to put your everything in it! I thought this part of the film was hilarious while other parts, not so funny.
In lieu of #mentalhealthmonth this film brings awareness to this “dis”ease that many deal with, but don’t seek help. So, even though we’re laughing, let’s pay attention to signs and how we can save someone.
