Did you know that older generations might actually be onto something when they claim that their childhood was marked by more freedom and independence?

A recent study highlights how the attitude towards children has shifted, with parents becoming increasingly less comfortable with allowing their kids to explore and play independently. This decline in child autonomy has been linked to a decline in children's mental health.

As we work on the Reimaging Ribaut Project and Paris Ave. Project, let's consider ways we can create environments that encourage children's independence and allow them to thrive!
