We traveled to Davenport this past weekend to compete in the final FBA competition of the year, The Davenport Big Belly BBQ Battle. We were fortunate enough to place 4th in ribs. The other categories, well, we have a little time to tighten those up. A special thanks to Swamp Boys BBQ Sauces and Rubs for feedback on our chicken. Can’t wait to get back at it next year! Congratulations to all the other teams getting calls and to Tillmans BBQ for their fourth straight Grand Champion!

While we didn’t get a call yesterday, we had a great time seeing everyone and supporting a great event Jolly Gator Fish Camp Bar & Grill. Daniel Devoy put on an awesome event that we can’t wait to come back next year to compete in. Thanks and congrats to Rum Runners BBQ for their 3rd place ribs and for helping us out as usual. Thank you to Toney from Those Florida Guys for coming out and helping us with everything from setting up, cooking, and making store runs. Congrats to our good friends at Ugly Drum Smokers Florida for your 1st place call! We cooked on our drums built by Jonathan and are ready to start winning on those bad boys. Thanks to Daniel from Pop's Smoke on the Hill Competition BBQ Team for judging and hanging out. A final thanks to Tampa Bay Brewing Company for always producing the perfect day drinking beer for any competition, get yourself some Day Donkey!! We ran nothing but the best as usual with Jealous Devil fuel and fire starters.
