When you step into the life youā€™re meant to live, it can make some people uncomfortableā€”but thatā€™s okay. True growth isnā€™t about staying small; itā€™s about daring to excel and inspire.
Iā€™ve been reflecting on how we take abstract ideas of a better future and turn them into something realā€”something tangible. Itā€™s about creating a clear, inspiring roadmap for your goals and sharing it with the people who matter most.

For me, thatā€™s meant challenging vague ideas like, ā€œI want to improve outcomes,ā€ and instead asking:

* What does success in my health look like?
* What does success in my family look like?
* What does success in my business look like?
* How will I feel when I get there?
* And how can I bring others along with me on the journey?

This book has empowered me to swing for the fencesā€”not just in my professional life but personally, too. My goal is clear: to reach, teach, and heal the world while creating exceptional patient outcomes.

I read every morning, and today, I was reading about things that hold us back, which got me thinking about relationships. Some things holding me back are not recognizing, valuing, or being happy with ALL the relationships in my life, not just the fulfilling ones. I love the quote, "People are in your life for a reason, a season, or a lesson."

Itā€™s essential to recognize the people in your life for a lesson are there so you'll learn something and move on from that!

Then, recognize and appreciate the most important relationships in your life, like my wife, children, and friends. Relationships are good, so pay attention to them and donā€™t take them for granted.

Road trip dynamics 101: Maxine is at the wheel, and Iā€™m living the dream in the passenger seat. She loves driving, and I loveā€¦ not driving. Whether itā€™s reading, podcasting, or working on my next big idea, I get my best thinking done while Maxine navigates the roads.

Funny thingā€”my Uncle John once thought I had a secret DUI because she always drives. Nope, just a happy arrangement (most of the time). I do my best to teach her good passenger etiquette by staying quiet about speed, lanes, or shortcutsā€”but letā€™s just say the ā€˜quiet exampleā€™ method isnā€™t catching on.

Maxine, on the other hand, loves to coach me when the tables turn. Apparently, my driving technique could use some fine-tuning. šŸ˜‚

Retirement plans? Letā€™s just say weā€™re negotiating. My dream is a cabin full of books. Maxine? Sheā€™s picturing us in a van, driving across the country while I write my book from the passenger seat. Honestly, after this conversation, I think sheā€™s winning. šŸšāœļøšŸ’–

I meditate, do yoga, go for a walk, or sit with myself in silence and think.

It's an uninterrupted time to reflect and practice gratitude, and when I do this, it has a positive impact on the rest of my day.
