A letter from an elderly woman from a nursing home.
I am 82 years old, I have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a room of 12 square meters.
I no longer have a home or expensive things, but I have someone who will clean my room, prepare food and bedding, measure my pressures and weigh me.
I no longer have the laughter of my grandchildren, I don't see them growing, hugging and arguing. Some come to me every 15 days, some every three or four months, and some never.
I no longer work in the winter, I don't bake cakes, I don't dig up the garden. I still have hobbies and I like to read, but my eyes quickly hurt.
I don’t know how much longer, but I have to get used to this loneliness. Here at home, I lead group work and help those who are worse than me as much as I can. Until recently, I read aloud to an immobile woman in the room next to me, we used to sing together, but she died the other day.
They say life is getting longer. Why? When I’m alone, I can look at photos of my family and memories I brought from home. And that's all.
I hope that the next generations will understand that families are born to have a future (with children) and that they do not forget about the family even in old age.

"When I adopted my dog ​​she was already pregnant. I knew what trouble I was getting into but I wanted her to give birth without fear, feel good and be a happy mom since life brought her this way.
She gave birth to 3 wonderful puppies that due to space we kept all 3 !!!One we were told is a blue german shepherd.I never cared because he was born different nor did we tell him apart from the others.On walks people are more afraid of him than the others but I know people always judge big dogs by looks.
Let's start seeing them as characters and personalities and not breeds and sizes!

Opossums are incredibly resilient animals that can withstand a significant amount of venom from venomous snakes such as rattlesnakes and coral snakes. They are known to survive up to 80 stings from these snakes and can even eat tick as if they were French fries. This resilience is due to their immune system which produces an antidote to the venom.

Moreover, Opossums also play an important role in keeping our environment clean, as they are opportunistic feeders and will eat a variety of insects, snails, slugs, rodents and other small mammals, as well as fruits and vegetables.

It's important to note that opossums are not aggressive animals and will only attack humans if they feel threatened. So, instead of killing them, it's better to let them live and do their job. Cecilia Payne was a pioneering astronomer who made a revolutionary discovery about the composition of the universe. Despite her groundbreaking work, she has received little recognition for her achievement. Payne's mother refused to pay for her college education, but she was able to attend Cambridge University on scholarship. However, Cambridge refused to give her a degree because she was a woman. Determined to pursue her passion for astronomy, Payne moved to the United States to work at Harvard. She was the first person to earn a Ph.D. in astronomy from Radcliffe College, with a thesis that was deemed "the most brilliant Ph.D. thesis ever written in astronomy" by Otto Strauve.

Payne discovered that hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. She also discovered that the sun's composition is different from the Earth's, a discovery that fellow astronomer Henry Norris Russell is usually given credit for, but he came to his conclusions four years later than Payne, after telling her not to publish. Payne also made significant contributions to the study of variable stars, which are stars whose brightness as seen from Earth fluctuates. Her work is the foundation of all other studies on variable stars.

Payne was the first woman to be promoted to full professor from within Harvard, and is credited with breaking the glass ceiling for women in the Harvard science department and in astronomy. She also inspired generations of women to take up science. Despite her numerous achievements, Payne has not received the recognition she deserves. Her legacy should be celebrated, and her name should be known by all as a trailblazer in the field of astronomy.

Eden’s whale trap feeding in the Gulf of Thailand. This extraordinary behavior (where the whale treads water!) is thought to have developed because pollution has made the Gulf of Thailand a hypoxic environment. Sewage outflows from the land have caused all the oxygen in the water to be used up, except at the surface. This means the whale’s fish prey can only live in this surface layer. By treading water and keeping the corners of their mouth below the surface, a flow is created pulling the fish into the whale's mouth. In the panic, some of the fish also seem to jump out of the water and into the whale’s mouth!⁣⁣⁣⁣
