Sad news, lighting peeps. Donnie Gressett of Carol's Lighting has passed away. A celebration of life will take place June 25 (read for details) https://enlightenmentmag.com/news/in-memoriam-don-gressett

12 years ago, I visited Don and Carol Gressett to do an article on their showroom, and over lunch I learned that they were childhood sweethearts who had known each other since grammar school (their parents were friends, too!). Such a gracious, smart, and generous couple. I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing.

Donald (Donnie) Joe Gressett, owner of Carol’s Lighting with two locations in the Houston area, passed away on Monday, June 10, at age 78.

I always looked forward to seeing Abe in the Crystorama Lighting showroom and was so impressed with his fortitude in coming to the office regularly even at an advanced age.
