Here is what Bobby said “It’s the first custom helmet i had got painted for me. For when I started to drive Spiderman in 2002. It was done by a custom helmet painter. Elise easterly made me a custom helmet bag for it. I wore like 2 times while driving but I thought it was so nice! So I kept it in good shape. I was going to see if the artist signed it. I removed the yellows from the artwork to give it a more monochromatic appearance since it was printed on silver”

This one is probably my favorite that I have done so far. It is based off of the Top Gun movie. It has the panels like a plane with bullet holes through it and the top gun logo on the back. With that he was wearing this helmet!! Awesome he was okay. The truck.. looks like all body! Here is Brad story behind his helmet! “So the explanation behind the artwork.
The purple ribbon is for pancreatic cancer. My late wife passed away in 2014 from a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer. I wanted something to memorialize her and it is my belief that her faith in Jesus Christ ultimately got her into heaven. Which ultimately in life is the goal of our existence. I can cope with the loss of my wife knowing she is in heaven in the peace of our Lord. It is my job to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ to ultimately be united in His glory, and reunited with my late wife.
It was from her passing, that I woke up from my sleep and turn from being a fan of Jesus Christ to a follower of Jesus Christ. This helmet I started wearing around 2015 when I was racing sprint cars. Its been on my head for every sprint car race as well as when I was driving Black Stallion for Vaters.
It then became my main helmet when I brought back Bad Habit Relapse and I used it all the way up until about 2022 when I got a fresh one from Pyrotect.
Alot of people thought I had it custom painted but its actually an option that you could get from Pyrotect’

I wanted a theme and that was a helmet like the football team. Like The Rams in the NFL or Colorado State University. Plus a mix of military. Since my dad and my grand father served. So with the help of .arndt.1426 and the helmet design was rdy to go. Mike used a real ram horn look with a military background and with my name on it. The center stripe is supposed to re-create the stripe that was on the US call sign on their airplanes. Artworks Unlimited in Aurora CO. Had to scan and trace the helmet which is a Simpson Diamondback. So to get it right and not have a bunch of lines and cuts took hours and hours of trial and error. They had such a fun time with it. I sure had a lot of fun designing and being a part of the process. I had to have the Colorado flag on top and loved that they added smoke to it.”

We go to the great state of Michigan and take a look at Mason Rife and his Psycho Circus Clown theme Helmet. “When my dad came out with the psycho circus years ago, he would come out and pop out of the top of the truck with a clown mask on and when we brought the name back I knew that had to be a big part of the trucks identity, so I tried to take it a step further and get a custom clown helmet done up to take it to the next level!

Is and his storm theme helmet that he used while driving for Team Bigfoot! “ I’ll summarize it like this really... “This helmet was painted by Mike Bestie, Bigfoot’s full time painter and detailer. The Battle Born is derived from the Five Finger Death Punch song which the lyrics are an exact explanation of what my life in Monster Trucks were like. Of course STORMIN on the front signifies my nickname STORMIN NORMAN ever since I was dubbed that nickname during my high school football days. The hurricane represents the Storm in me to keep raging forward and also represents growing up in South Florida where hurricanes are just a part of life. But the very back is what I am most proud of. My brother Phill and I fought tooth and nail against a stacked lineup to win the Jamboree series racing championship and were dubbed the overall racing champion of the 4x4 Jamboree series. Day 12 of 31 helmets of July it’s me @elvis.rl! “I always wanted a helmet design that didn’t have the cliche focal point on the truck but had a bit of my style to it. The smiley face artwork is called Murakami and it’s extremely popular in the rap/fashion industry. They’ve done collaborations with brands like Louis Vuitton, Supreme, etc. Lewis Hamilton had a helmet collaboration with the artist and I always thought it was super cool. Thankfully Krysten Anderson was able to help me with individually coloring every “flower face” to where it’d transition from yellow to red to match the Toro theme. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I really loved the design and it’s definitely my favorite design so far.
