Here’s my last batch of photos from Amsterdam. I took these on Friday.

Unfortunately, a combination of getting sick & a not so strategically placed hotel prevented me from exploring Utrecht much, and by Sunday, it was pretty clear that taking the train down to Brussels would’ve been a mistake with how sick I ended up being.

Overall, this was a good trip. & absolutely blew my mind with their recording sessions. That said, I’m not sure Europe will ever be my go to destination for travel in winter. 😂 the thick fog seemingly over all of the Netherlands stayed around for the entire week unfortunately, and I haven’t seen the sun in entirely too long. Worth it, though.

I don’t have anything else to post because it hurts to go outside currently, but I’ve been really dialing in my post processing of Milky Way photos. Gotta stay sharp for when spring comes and it’s visible again ✨

Did some really meticulous post processing on this to bring out the gas/dust lanes (the dark parts) in the Milky Way. This would be a lot easier to capture with a star tracker. If you look closely, you can also see 2-3 meteors from the Perseid Shower back in August.
