I’m filming some market research interviews for AARP in peoples homes over the next three weeks in Pittsburgh. Whether you feel like a rubber band, disconnected and disappointed, engaged and concerned, a traditionalist, or an instagrandma we might like to talk to you! These usually take 2-2.5 hours and involve an on camera interview and a bit of filming of someone doing things around their house. It pays $150. The footage won’t be shared publicly and is only for market research purposes.

The Rubber Bands:
Stressed, worried and exhausted. However, they are “happy” and feel connected to family and friends. They tend to be younger and employed with kids living at home.
Disconnected and Disappointed:
Socially isolated, and have fallen short of their own expectations. They are unsatisfied. Lower, younger income group not in the workforce.
Engaged and Concerned:
Worried about the upcoming election and the result will affect them personally. Mostly 65+ white women. Has post high school education. Pro Biden.
Instagrandmas:
Love life and use social media often. Sharing glimpses into their lives through social media and staying connected with family and friends. Engaged in cultural activities.
Traditionalists:
Over the age of 65, religious Conservative, watches Fox news and may be in the household with someone who has served in the military. Pro Trump.
