Hey Guys!
Please check out the new one from my friends The Clarks, it’s called
”No 9”.

I think they crushed it once again!
💪💪💪

Noah Minarik and Greg Joseph brought in a fresh, but dark and brooding demo.

Then we built this one together in little different direction than previous records I’ve done for them.

We used some newer sounds, arrangements and melodies, but kept all the tenets you’d expect from a Clarks song, lots of guitars, big rhythm section, and an instantly recognizable lead vocal.

Very proud to continue my 20 year relationship of producing records for these guys.

Thanks for trusting me to put this one together.

Great first day with new friends The Jaded Lips !

Lots of stuff accomplished!!

First, Dave knocked out some strong drum tracks. 💪💪

Next, we discussed the pros and cons of their hatred of Dream Theater, AND their love of pants-less Twister.

Then I forced them to wear studio T shirts, swear a blood oath, then take a photo to commemorate the ceremony.

Just the normal stuff🤷🏻‍♂️

In all seriousness, thanks for making the trip down from Altoona and trusting me with your material.

I think we got some really good stuff!

Today’s view from the chair is a congratulatory one!

The Gene The Werewolf gang have a new release, “Raised By Wolves”!

A new motivational anthem from the band.

Jon and Bret Nighthawk Kalakewich (who joined us as a new co writer💪💪) brought in a solid demo, and then we did our normal thing working the song.

It’s a slightly different subject and delivery on this one, but the guys still wanted all the “Gene” stuff I normally do, but with some new, more pop elements as well.

Building songs like these can be challenging, but it’s always rewarding when the band is happy, and the song resonates with the audience.

VERY appreciative and proud of the 11(?) years and 16 songs with these guys.

Congrats guys, I hope all of the GTW fans dig it.
