We are beyond stoked to have started moving things into our new home inside the Moose Building at 112 E Sherman St in Millvale! We are aiming to have some pop-ups throughout the month in November and officially re-open on Small Business Saturday in November!

Hi Friends and Neighbors!
After nearly two lovely years with our roomies , it’s time to get a move on. This week will be our last week of service at 142 Grant Ave. We have loved our time with our friends and we can’t thank Athena, ’s Crew and Jasper and Debra for thinking this up so we could hop on the rollercoaster with the Harold’s gang, and we’ll miss it and everyone involved (minus the misogynistic ghost in the dry cellar). Thank you for believing in this little DIY engine that could. Stay tuned for what’s next with Harold’s and what chaotic shenanigans our futures hold with our friends there!

As for Lemon Tree, never fear. This isn’t the end of the road for the gang. SURPRISE! We signed our lease with the Millvale Food and Energy Hub to start building out a lovely little home of our own in our beloved Millvale.

All three of us plan to keep doing what we do along side new friends and old with a little more elbow room and a lot more cold brew. Be on the lookout here and in stories as we ramp up to opening the new space! We will be going on break starting Saturday September 28th, tentatively through the month of October and will be posting updates and announcements on our Grand Re-Opening in November!

For now, keep ordering cold brew through our order form to get your fix! We’ll still be around.

+ to for holding it down ALONE ENTIRELY so Sam and Bobby can snuggle their baby.
+ to every single puppy pet in the last two years (please keep letting Sam feed treats and porch sit with your dogs. Eyes on you: Dusty, Freddie Spaghetti, Dolly, Morris, Luna and all other furry regulars)
+ every single person reading this and every single person who helped lift this little dream off the ground. Thanks for telling us your hot gossip, and telling us your sad gossip and letting us hug you and listening to us talk/watch/scream about Pokémon and Minecraft on Saturdays with no child care and for letting us feed you and caffeinate you and talk at you while you wait patiently for our little espresso machine in our little shop.

Here’s to keeping that train moving. We love yinz.

Hi friends! Bobby here! While has been running the coffee shop by himself (which is absolutely wild and very impressive, right?!) this adorable illustration (made by the unbelievably talented and sweet ) is what the rest of the Lemon Tree crew has been up to! It has been a VERY eventful week for all of us, but it’s also been absolutely magical!

Couple of important notes:

- We are open limited days (Thursday - Saturday) over the coming weeks as our time inside of winds down. But don’t sweat, when we open back up later this Fall we will still be in Millvale and we will still be finding ways to work with our platonic poly pals from PGH’s only They Bar!! So stay tuned!

- You can still order cold brew, lemonade or fresh roasted whole beans at lemontreepgh.square.site

- IT’S COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON YINZ!! If you are going to to watch some be sure to stop by the coffee shop so that you can get a nice base layer of caffeine in your system. That way you’ll be more alert and able to drink more beers. It’s science!

Thank you all for the kind messages and support. I truly can’t even begin to express how much our weird little community means to me and our family. I’ve shed about a thousand happy tears over the past week and plan on shedding many more.

Alrighty gang, the time has come! Sam and Bobby are out on parental leave starting next week, so Jason will be running the shop solo with slightly reduced hours. Will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next few weeks, but open normal hours Thursday through Saturday!

Be sure to stop into the shop and have Jason, a.k.a. the Punk Rock Chef (as he is not at all sarcastically known), make you a bagel sandwich! And who knows, you might even see Sam or Bobby stop in with a little lemon seed (when they run out of coffee at home most likely).
