We have new passports available for sale in the coffee shop from !! Only $50 for a free drink from 18 of the best coffee shops in Pittsburgh!! (Also if purchased a Passport anywhere else, bring it into Lemon Tree and we will give you ANY drink on the menu!)

Ho ho ho! Merry Happy!

The coffee shop will be closed next week while we tweak the menu a bit, plan some other exciting changes for 2024, and get the 3 of us under the same roof at the same time for what feels like the first time in months.

Exciting things on the way! 2024 is going to be cool. But in the meantime, we’ll be open 730-2 Thursday & Friday and 8-Noon on Saturday like usual.

We are closed today & tomorrow, but we will be open on Saturday for !! We’ll be holding down the fort, giving out FREE SAMPLES OF COLD BREW and slingin sandos!

This week we will be closed on Thursday & Friday to spend time with family for holiday, but we will be back open from 8 - Noon on Saturday for Small Business Saturday. I am the owner of Harold's Haunt, the (first ever?) They-Bar in Pittsburgh/Millvale. I'm also the owner of Q***r Witches of Maude's Paperwing Gallery which is a q***r, witchy gift shop!

We are raising funds to help us grow and we need your help! 🙏💜 Buying a bar was never in my life plans but I came across a need in the community and decided it was important to try and fill it. Those of you who have known me for a long time, you know that 'bar owner' was probably the last place you'd thought I'd be and also... you probably aren't actually that surprised. 😅

I have always been in this for the COMMUNITY. 🌈 Supporting my fellow q***rs find a place where they can be who they are and feel safe, supported, and exited about emotional healing and growth - that's what gives me joy and why I opened my little witch shop three years ago.

Opening a bar has been a surprising extension of that path - I now have a place where the q***r community can really come together and meet one another in a cozy and safe environment. By designating it a THEY-BAR, we hold space for those in the q***r community who have often been unable to find space at typical gay or le***an bars. And by just being our silly little selves, we have created a cozy place where people feel welcome and relaxed.

In the past year, my family and I have poured our entire selves into Harold's Haunt. I knew running a bar, let alone a second business, would be hard, but damn I didn't even know I was capable of doing all of the work I've had to do in the last year. It has been honestly overwhelming, but the thing that keeps me going is the community. People come in and say that they feel seen and safe. People tell me how excited and grateful they are that Harold's and Maude's exist. The amount of people whose lives have been positively affected means to me that I cannot give up. I HAVE to keep this thing going, even if it eats me alive. 😅🙃😂

Right now we are running an investment campaign through Honeycomb Credit. The funds that we are raising are for decor and admin things and also, priority number one- getting us a full time manager for the bar.

If you've been to one of our events at Harold's, you know we have some pretty cool ideas. Our Prom was a freaking blast. The funeral party we just had was bananas. But all of the events right now are done last minute, zero budget, frantic planning --- as a group of theater q***rs, we can pull off some killer things with half a plan and a day of planning.

But what if we had time to ....actually plan these events? What if we had someone who was able to take care of logistics of setting up and tearing down? What if we had someone who took care of the ordering and stocking? IMAGINE HOW AMAZING THE EVENTS WOULD BE THEN.

We have some absolutely fantastic things dreamed up, but we need your help to make them into a reality. I admit it feels absolutely gross to be a business owner talking about money and asking for financial help but for the sake of the dreams we have, I'm doing it anyway. 🙏

Hi friends!

ICYMI: Our pals down the street at are using our cold brew to make a COLD BREW MILKSHAKE and it’s amazing!! But it’s only available for a limited time, so make sure you stop by and snag one. It’s the perfect end of Summer treat!!

While grabbing your milkshake, also make sure to stop by the free concert at hosted by our friends, and fellow baseball psychos, !! It starts at 2 and there are tons of amazing local kids performing!

After that, you should stop in to between 5 & 6 to grab a beer and dunk into a bucket of water.

What a day!! Millvale is the place to be!

The folx down at Yetter's Candies are miracle workers! I knew I would enjoy this milkshake, but holy cow yinz!! This milkshake is FOR REAL!! Do yourself a favor and grab one now!

Our new cold brew shake. Vanilla ice cream blended with cold brew coffee from Lemon Tree!! Topped with whipped cream and chocolate covered espresso beans. I know I say they're all good, but this one's GOOOOOOOOOOOD.

Our cold brew order form is open!! We will be doing pickups/deliveries on Friday instead of Saturday this week because we will be closed this Saturday. Sorry for the late notice gang (blame Bobby again), but our little 3-person operation will be soaking up one of the last Saturdays of the Summer.

In the meantime, we will be open normal hours the rest of the week, 730 - 2 today through Friday! Come hang out!

Hi friends!

Sorry for the short notice (blame Bobby for not posting this sooner 🤷🏻‍♂️) but the coffee shop will be closed this Saturday, July 29th.

The entire Lemon Tree squad will be heading to Baltimore with the lovely to play some ball and have a good time with the !!

Stop by the coffee shop between 730am and 2pm on Thursday and Friday to wish us luck! And then be sure to come in early next week to laugh at how sore we still are from trying to play baseball while in our 30’s!

(Also, shoutout to for this amazing Millvale baseball photo that we absolutely need to recreate. Fancy boy uniforms and all!)

Our birthday and absolutely wiped us out last week in the best possible way! We took the past week off to rest a bit and recover, but we back baby!!

Stop down to 142 Grant Ave in Millvale today for a Samlot, Avocado Toast, a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, a Bagel Sando, or just to hang out for a bit!
