There has been some hype regarding snowfall for Thanksgiving, and for the week leading up to Christmas. As exciting as these model runs look, we need to stay based in reality. We believe that both of these maps are very overdone. We expect a cool and dry Thanksgiving Day. As far as Christmas, we’re over a month away, and models will change. For now, we expect a few flurries, and below average temperatures for the week leading up to Christmas Day. We will keep an eye on the model runs, and provide an update if necessary.

WHITEHALL- A local man is being praised for his generosity after leaving an enormous tip at a restaurant this week.

Jeff Dungy went to Buffalo Wild Wings this past Tuesday, enjoying a delicious lunch of boneless wings, tater tots and a refreshing glass of water. When the bill came, Dungy decided to do something a bit unusual. "I received exceptional service and the food was extremely tasty," says Dungy. "I normally tip between 15 and 20%, but I decided to do a little extra this time."

Dungy left $14 cash on the table, and his tip of $2.34 was a whopping 20% of his total bill. "I like to take care of the people who take care of me," says Dungy. "It was well-deserved, especially since I had about a dozen refills on my ice water."

After hearing the news, management at Buffalo Wild Wings announced that Dungy will have his own private table at the restaurant from now on. "From this point forward, Mr. Dungy shall be treated like a king when he dines here," according to a press release issued by the eatery. "He is always welcome here!"
