Investigations revealed a disturbing pattern of deception and violence. The victim had checked into the hotel a day earlier, on January 30, 2025, at about 7:00 AM, in the company of a man who identified himself as Emmanuel Okoro from Lagos State.

A Civil Defence called his friend (the suspect in the picture) several times but he wasn't picking. So he drove to his house to check on him. He met him and after exchanging pleasantries, the suspect went to get him something to eat, on his way he decided to keel him and sell his car. He added rat p0ison to the meal. After the friend took it he started writhing in pains.

The suspect felt the deceased was slow in dy1ng so he took a big log of wood and hit him 11 times then threw the body in an unused well and covered it with debris.
Nemesis caught up with him when he couldn't sell the car because there were no papers. So he called the wife to enquire about the papers, the call was traced to him. Police swung into action and arrested him.

Enugu police arrest man for cutting wife’s wrist with cutlass over suspicion she is cheating on him

The Enugu State Police Command, through its operatives attached to Okpuje Division, on January 26, 2025, have arrested one Sunday Echege, a 33-year-old male resident of Ibagwa-Agu Farm Settlement in Ibagwa-Ani community, Nsukka LGA, for severing the left wrist of his wife, Chinonso Echege. The arrest was made possible with the assistance of law-abiding members of the community, and the machete used in committing the crime was recovered from the suspect.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspect, who has confessed to the crime, claimed he acted out of suspicion that his wife was involved in extramarital affairs.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, says the suspect will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.

Ndukwe added that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to ensure a thorough and timely investigation, followed by the prosecution of the suspect. He further urged couples to resolve their differences through love, understanding, and legal means, rather than resorting to violent criminal acts.

I am a lady aged 26 based in Abuja. I am dating a guy based in Lagos and I always visit him via commercial bus. So during the Yuletide, I visited him in Lagos and one evening we were out drinking with a group of friends and one girl there was like her boyfriend bought her an airticket for her to fly from Ph to Lagos. So I said mine can't buy for me, everyone started laughing hilariously at him. So my guy said oh yeah I will book a flight ticket for you to return to Abuja. Two days later, it was time for me to go and my guy sent an airticket to my email. We bade each other goodbye and I headed to the airport. Admin can you believe it, when checking in at the airport they told me my name is not in the system. I showed them the ticket and they said sorry check with your booking agent. I called my boyfriend several times but his phone was switched off. Long story short , I missed the flight and I had to use my own money to enter night bus to return to Abuja. It turned out that he just f0rged the airticket. I don't even understand why he did that to this day. He st0pped answering my calls and keeps ignoring my messages. It's almost two weeks now. Since that day we haven't spoken. I still don’t understand why he chose to give me a f@ke air ticket. I wonder if it’s because people laughed at him when I said he can't buy me an airticket ? Why would my guy do this to me ?
