Did you know that libraries offer more than books and community resources?! Well, THEY DO.
We've borrowed tools, video games, movies, @americangirlbrand dolls and taken classes through our local library before. Our favorite benefit has been free museum passes though.
Yesterday, for the cost of parking, we enjoyed interactive and supremely kid-friendly exhibits, spurred interest in further learning (I mostly credit the 4th floor pirate film for this one), and came home fulfilled and happy. I'm not sure that we could ever homeschool without the library's books and audiobooks, but museum passes have been the happiest bonus.
Are you a library lover, too? What library resource do you find your family utilizing the most?
Halfway through 2023 and this was most definitely my favorite moment.

❄️ My favorite tradition of the holiday season. ❄️
This kind of high stakes gingerbread house construction is not for the faint of heart. Really though, what kind of monster doesn't pre-cut gingerbread?!
I can't be alone in this...right?

I'm a strong, independent woman, but that trash* isn't going to take itself out.

Halloween lunch: kids vs adults 🎃
Last year, we waved to trick or treaters from our porch and pieced together costumes from the dress up bin.
We're living it up (a little) this year. Two more days! 🎃
We're headed into Monday on a bit of a sugar high and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Two more days until the kid that made me a Mama turns 11. We'll just be over here eating cake until then. 🎉🎂
I'm so mad at myself for falling for it.
But also, gtfo.
