As a sad side note on a sad day, I'd like to say this;

A couple of years ago I did long-form documentary on the events at the Alrosa Villa, Dimebag Darrell, and the prick who killed him. Thanks to some internet archives I was able to dive pretty deep into it and it's rough.

This day, for Pantera fans, will always bring to the front Dimebag Darrell Abbott, as it should, but Dime was not the only one to lose their life that night. The devastation and impact of the event has wrought havoc on countless people, including Nathan Bray, the fan with a baby and wife at home, who attempted to provide futile aid to Dime and paid for it with his life. Or Jeffrey "Mayhem" Thompson & Erin Halk, and everyone in that room that had to watch it happen and fear the worst.

Since I finished that project, knowing everything I know about it, I try to remember them right alongside Dime.

Just a thought I had today.
