From a business perspective, Balloon Social is a social media and digital content service. At its core, though, it's really just about helping small businesses tell their stories. It's a celebration of the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in town today.

Pittsburg and the surrounding area is blessed with so many awesome small businesses, and it's such a joy to help them shine as much as possible!

This little magazine part of the effort is just about getting to know the local community better and sharing their stories! Some of the businesses featured are clients, some aren't. But they're all working hard every day to make our community a better place to live!

One of my first jobs right out of PSU was as a reporter at The Morning Sun. It was during that time that I met so many cool people here in Pitt and made several personal and professional connections. So it's especially meaningful to add The Sun to the Balloon Social community! It's so so cool to have a chance to help the paper enhance its online presence and share the great work today's Sun staff is doing.

A strong community needs a strong newspaper. The paper represents and reflects all of us. It's who we are as a community.
