This week, we’re excited to spotlight Dr. Katie Chargualaf, a dedicated leader in med-surg nursing. She has served as an Editorial Board Member for the MEDSURG Nursing Journal since 2023. She has also served as a Manuscript Reviewer since 2015 and writes the Leadership in Nursing column for the journal. Dr. Chargualaf received the 2020 MEDSURG Nursing Research Writer’s Award.

Dr. Chargualaf is currently the Dean of the School of Nursing at the University of South Carolina-Aiken.
