MY BEST FRIEND KICKED ME OUT OF HER WEDDING AFTER THE GROOM TOOK THE MIC AND POINTED AT ME.
Last weekend, I was at my best friend Lily's wedding. I was thrilled to be there; we'd been inseparable since middle school.
Everything was perfect — until it wasn't.
Around 10 p.m., the DJ announced a blacklight dance party. The crowd loved it, and I was having fun until I noticed people staring and whispering. Then, the music cut out.
Dead silence.
A blacklight spotlight landed on me. The groom, Matt, grabbed the mic, his voice full of anger. "Look at her," he barked, pointing at me. "She came here to ruin my wife's big day."
I froze, completely confused. Then Lily joined him, looking devastated. "I can't believe you'd do this to me. After everything!"

My father remarried after my mom died when I was 11. My stepmom did everything she could to give me a happy life. After my father's death, she stayed by my side and refused to leave me at the orphanage despite her family's demands.
But I waited until my 18th birthday to drop a bombshell she didn't expect.

When I was 19, a terrible accident left me unable to walk. My mom had passed away years before, so my dad was all I had left. But he was never the loving, supportive type. What he did after my accident, though? It completely destroyed me.

Last month, Sarah and I got married after six amazing years together. At our wedding, her mom gave us the most shocking gift: the deed to a gorgeous five-bedroom house in a super expensive neighborhood. I was blown away. Growing up with little, this felt like a dream come true.
But Sarah’s reaction was… weird. Her smile was forced, and she barely said anything. I thought it was just wedding stress.
We moved in, and the house was perfect—everything I’d ever wanted. But Sarah was distant, disappearing to another room with her phone and brushing off my questions. I tried to be patient.
Then came the dinner.
