Strange noises over at the refineries tonight. Didn’t see any flaring.
This was recorded a few Saturday's ago. Maybe three. When it was Sugar City there was never any issues with noise. Since Westside/Central Concrete took over it has been constant noise from them. Many complaints to the City. Our once peaceful neighborhood is no more thanks to Westside/Central Concrete. And our neighborhood isn't the only on affected. There is a neighborhood directly behind them and one on the side of them.
Here is another treat courtesy of Westside/Central Concrete. This our Saturday morning. This was recorded a month or so ago on a Saturday morning. This happens every few weeks. When it was Sugar City we never had all this noise.
So this is just a sample of what our neighborhood has to listen to almost daily. I recorded this yesterday on my iPhone. This is from Westside/Central Concrete (Formerly Sugar City) on San Pablo Avenue. The constant airhorns that start early and go all day long. We have been complaining to the City for months now. What's really upsetting is that Westside/Central refuses to even try and find a solution to the airhorns even with the complaints. They are not good neighbors. They don't care about Pinole. They have no interest in Pinole or its residents. When it was Sugar City there were no airhorns. The airhorns started after Westside/Central Concrete took over. And yes you can hear these airhorns inside the house with the windows closed. I don't understand how a business can come in and create so much noise pollution and get away with it.
One of the things our neighborhood is treated to are the daily air horns from Westside Materials. Everyday we have to listen to the air horns. Some days it goes on all day long.
Westside Concrete
The noise from Westside Concrete (Sugar City) at 250am was unbearable.
Christmas Day moon over Pinole.
