7am update: 🚧 **Ice, Ice, and more Ice **

Our crews have been working through the night to treat roads and clear trees, but conditions remain challenging. This morning, temperatures range from 19-24°F, which means **black ice** is a real hazard, especially on bridges.

Roads vary across the district due to last night’s additional snowfall. A routes have been the priority so in some counties B and C routes are still partially or fully covered. Visit snowky.ky.gov for priority route maps and traffic cams.

- Allow extra time to reach your destination

The Eastern Kentucky Advanced Women's Care Center at Pikeville Medical Center is thrilled to announce the First Baby of 2025, Lydia Jade Robinson! Lydia was born on January 1st at 2:46 AM, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. Her proud parents are Leslie Howell and Matthew Robinson from Pike County.
Pikeville Medical Center continues its long-standing tradition of waiving all medical costs not covered by insurance for the first baby of the year.
Congratulations to Leslie, Matthew, and sweet Lydia Jade, PMC’s First Baby of 2025!
