A good day picking along with some good house calls. All headed to the Auction on Sunday May 5, at the Auction Field in East Haverhill,NH. More details and listing coming soon. My favorite thing I found today is this oil on panel street scene by Hugo Breul. It depicts a newspaper boy lighting a cigar on the streets of Providence,RI. The sign in the background is the clue - Cory Brothers Pianos and Organs was located at 131 Westminster Street in Providence. A little slice of life at the turn of the century.
