Today’s Features Zine is “Muses & Places” by Cyndy Gaughan and Bill Keffeler! 📸 Cyndy and Bill worked very diligently to carefully craft their first zine together and we are so excited to be able to share it with you! Here’s a brief description of this zine from the artists directly:

“The muse creates the spark and focus. Explore both the muse and the creation in this partnership of image stories and word visions. Union, perspective, community, strength—what will you see and where will you go?”

This photo zine was published and assembled by Wasted Ink’s print studio, .jam.print ! 🖨️ If you or anyone else you know have an idea for a zine and need help designing, formatting, printing, or assembling it, reach out to the folks at Wasted Ink’s and Paper Jam + Print. ｡𖦹°‧

Calling all zine makers — beginners and seasoned creators alike — to come together to make, trade, and share zines at Phoenix Zine Fiends! Absolutely no experience is necessary, and you don't have to bring anything with you (although you are welcome to bring in-progress projects/your own materials if you'd like).

Join us on 1/26 from 3-5p at .jam.print 335 W McDowell Rd for Phoenix Zine Fiends in collaboration with .k8!

Some zine-making materials that will be provided:
Instructional zines
Paper
Markers
Scissors
Precision knives
Glue sticks
Magazines for clipping/collaging

The New Year is here and we are starting off our year right with learning about different parts of history through the Budget Press ‘Pocket Histories’ zine series! 📚

These mini zines contain small snippets of history that is focused on a topic of interest throughout history. These zines are an easily digestible small bit of information with pictures and additional resources that makes history a lot easier to study! They’re definitely easier to read than any dry textbook. 📕 📗📘📙

We carry ‘Pocket Histories’ numbers 1-8 in the shop and in our online store. Stop in and learn something new this year! We will be open today, tomorrow, and Sunday from 11am - 5pm. ₊｡‧°✩°‧｡₊

During our Wasted Ink birthday celebration earlier this month, we released a new Community Grief Zine that we collected submissions for at the Phx Zine Fest.

This zine was created to honor our friend and zinester, Sarahfina Fore, who passed away earlier this year. Today would have been their 36th birthday and we want to share this zine with you to celebrate and remember them. The zine is available to pick up for free at the distro, just ask at the desk in Wasted Ink.

Huge thanks to , .jpg, , and for making this zine for our grieving community and anyone else who needs to be seen and held through their grief.
