Revisiting old images from Burning Man Project, here’s an image that I had never edited (when you take hundreds, or thousands of images, there’s always something to edit). It’s kind of weird, creepy, and lovely and I like it!

When I look at the entire set of images I captured, in 2016, it tells a story and brings back all the fun and frolicking, and it feels like it was just yesterday all over again.

This art installation was out in deep playa.

Toronto the great! I lived near this city for the majority of my life and there’s still lots of nooks and crannies to explore. With the city in constant development, I’ll never be done exploring.

The Toadstools Hoodoos in southern Utah are such cool rock formations. Quick and easy hike, and you are wandering around strange and unusual landscape.

More on these interesting features here: the Toadstools offers families and adventurers an easy, flat 1.5-mile hike exploring otherwordly geological sandstone formations. These balanced rock formations (about 40 miles east of Kanab) look like mushrooms and provide awe-inspiring views that enchant. Careful though, they are delicate. No Boy Scouts allowed.

Traveling around is not just about eating and drinking, you might learn a little something about the area beyond just the obvious.

The Wooden Legacy is a brass monument, located in Indianapolis, is a sculpture celebrating legendary coach John Wooden. Included are lower legs of his players, dating from his earliest coaching days at Indiana State to his run of 10 NCAA championships at UCLA.

Ho ho ho! Santa is most definitely making his way to your town now. According to Norad, Santa begins his mission on the International Date Line and takes in Zhangye in China before heading off to the Pacific, New Zealand and Australia. How does he park on top of a building as high as this one and sneak out the door?

Merry Christmas all.

Sometimes you need to be alone. Not to be lonely, but to enjoy your free time being yourself.

Enjoy your time and spend it however you choose (even if you fly solo).

Oh life, you are a little tricky sometimes. But there’s no time like the present to believe, in yourself, and in others, for a better tomorrow. So get out there and make it happen, especially now! Enjoy the lights and magic of the holidays. Cheers all!

Ps. I had "Believe" on my mind so as I prepare to bid adieu to 2024, I sang this song, performed by Cher, today in a Sales Meeting and (of course) I thought it was amazing! Ha ha.

The Alamo in San Antonio has a few beautiful buildings, including this one, the gift shop!

There’s always something going on around the grounds with restoration, preservation and education.

The Alamo Company occupied the site for 32 years (1803-1835) in which time Mexico won its independence in 1821. Tejas (Texas) would soon begin its fight for its own independence. Colonized in the eighteenth century by the Spanish, the Republic of Texas did declare its independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836. The Republic of Texas was not recognized by the United States until a year later in 1837.

The Granite Dells in Prescott, AZ. Lots of little trails and hikes to take around here. Make sure you are wearing good shoes as it does get slippery.

Some interesting facts about this area: Granitic rock exposed at the Dells is Proterozoic in age (1,400 Ma). The granitic melt was intruded into the ancient crust where it cooled and crystallized. It has since been exhumed and raised to the surface. The rounded appearance of individual boulder is the result of spheroidal weathering - a process whereby minerals, feldspars and micas, are chemically attacked along joints, effectively rounding a square peg. Radon concentrations are anomalously high in the Dells due to a high concentration of uranium
