NEW THIS MORNING: Officials are investigating a serious crash early Friday morning along I-10 near 75th Avenue. It appears that a truck may have crashed through the barriers on the overpass, crashing onto the freeway level below. Traffic was restricted early on, but the freeway has since reopened.
Camelback Charter Academy is mourning the death of their nursing assistant.
Phoenix police say they were called to an area near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road around 2 a.m. for a shots fired call.
When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. Police also saw a large group of people running and driving off from a large house party.
Twenty-one-year-old Amanda Franco was later pronounced dead at the scene.

A group of volunteers gathered on Tuesday in search for Emily Pike’s additional remains where her body was found off Highway 60 near mile marker 277. ABC15's Josh Kristianto spoke with the group who felt this was a personal effort by them to help bring justice to Pike as well as bring closure to the family.
