A close friend reminded me he graduated college seventeen years ago today. He told me about how he had no idea what he wanted to study initially and thought it was a waste of time.
The friend's father was an educator and passed the month he entered college. The old man told the son no matter how long it takes, finish. Thirty years after the later my best friend graduated with a 3.72 GPA in Business Management. That friend was me.
In all modesty, this isn't meant to be a bragging story. The message is my wisdom to pass along. 1.Finish what you start, no matter how long it takes. 2. Make adjustments as needed on your roadmap through life. 3. If you don't know what major, you want to study, take business. You can use your learning skills in any work environment. 4. If not college, a trade school, military service, or become an entrepreneur. 5. Find the fun in life without self-destructing.
