This has been a unique season for our family. While we laugh a lot, we also have moments of uncertainty, pain, crying, conflict and adversity that test us as a family. Through it all, we find a way to make it happen with a smile on our face and a song in our heart. We smile not because it’s always good or perfect but because God is always good to us no matter what. We are truly blessed. All praise to the Most High 🙌🏾🙏🏾

First day running since my surgery and I raced my kids. No way I can out run my 6 and 8 year old at this point but I got the 2 year old… for now. I’m coming back to claim my crown. It’s a process. One day at a time.

In 2020, Coach McCory and I would meet in my classroom every Friday for a prayer and motivation.

In 2021 we were both diagnosed with cancer.

2022 we are both cancer survivors and we both give credit to the Most High for bringing us through and for healing us.

My daughter Eden, my little angel. I have been down batting the Big C for a few months. I told Eden that I fight for her and our family everyday. My daughter said, “Daddy, don’t fight for us. Fight for you and we will fight with you. We are in this together.” I almost cried. She understands the assignment. She will be a world changer.

Note to self: Stop playing with your purpose. Procrastination is the arrogant assumption God owes you more time. He doesn’t. Everyday is a blessing. Every second is an opportunity. Don’t waste it. Live life to the fullest and BE THE GREATEST You.
