The performance bonus is paid for ENGAGEMENT!!
Followers don't mean anything if they're not engaging. You as a follower are not valuable if you are not engaging back. There's no reason to follow people that you will not like, comment or share their post. 1k active supporters is better than 100k followers that never interact. If you're not showing the same support you receive, you can't wonder why your numbers are low. We need a community that supports each other, that's how we ALL win.

Engagement plays a big role part too in growing/monetizing your account. 1m follower is nothing with zero interactions, comments, like and share. Learn to engage with your audience, it's worth it plus you will meet some genuine and legit supporters. Well of course you have to give back the favor.
