The Old World Center including the Oregon Trail Brewery space was recently sold to Waylon and Toby Pickett. Waylon and his brother JD Pickett (brewer at Oregon Trail Brewery in 2012-2013) have formed Wagon Brewing LLC and have bought Oregon Trail Brewery as well. Oregon Trail Brewery was one of the first breweries started since prohibition, opening in 1987. Waylon and family have big plans to update the brewery and Old World Deli, while honoring the legacy and character beloved by all. I As a result the brewery will not be brewing any more beer until after the updates are completed. Wagon Brewing intends to carry on the Oregon Trail brand with many of the same beers available.
Thanks for 33 awesome years! 23 years until the 200th anniversary of the actual Oregon Trail. Hop2it!
