1.) The fact that these youth can FaceTime David Banks a Blackman that they respect who also happens to be an Olympian to talk trash . . . That’s Access. 2.) The fact that he picks up to talk some trash of his own because mentoring these young people is important to him . . . That’s responsibility. 3.) The fact that he calls me to see when we can set up some erg racing so he can race the boys . . . That’s Community.

#Repost @beashark ・・・ Earlier this summer, with thanks to @kevinhart4real and @hydrow, Bljcommunityrowing welcomed two new SHARKS to their growing fleet. Surrounded by family, friends and some special guests, it was quite the celebration. HUDSON remains excited to support the efforts of @johnsonbrannon and the BLJ community as they continue to increase accessibility and awareness of the sport of rowing. Like many programs, their fleet was heavily impacted by Hurricane Ida. With unprompted generosity from the rowing community, BLJ has been able to continue putting boats on the water, keeping their vision moving forward.
