Assembling these pictures was a heartwarming reminder of how satisfying it is to create a little podcast with your best friend and sister from another mister .gardner.weiss. TWO new Boaty Shows! Taking a break from socials so late to post. Last week and hosted me in BK for a whirlwind tour of the fascinating waterfront and waterborne art communities of Brooklyn - Gowanus, Broad Channel, Rockaway, Red Hook, Dumbo. We tour the and learn about the vision and progress toward a new working waterfront: acquaculture, research, manufacturing. This week an anonymous environmental expert tells us all about the Clean Water Act, Superfund, and we get into detail on the Gowanus Canal Superfund cleanup, including the new Combined Sewage Overflow 12M gallon tank being constructed to capture sewage in big rainstorms instead of dumping it into the canal. Fascinating stuff all around, hope you enjoy, thanks for listening!!
