Background

I had this idea that besides creating music, I wanted to start my own clothing brand. I began writing music at the age of 8 and I always visualized different things that I could do with my talent. Fast forward to the year of 2016, I began learning how to do Graphic Designing with Photoshop & GIMP. GIMP is another version of Photoshop that is free but it pretty much have the same features. I began creating my own music covers, even down to making cartoons of myself with the program. Soon after, I began brainstorming what else I could do with my Graphic Designing skills and I decided to use it on a clothing brand. 2017 was my year of progression where it was only time for ideas and looking for ways to make them come into the light. I even spent time looking at different celebrity clothing brands and seeing how they came up with their ideas. One of the most notable brands I looked at the most was Kanye West “Yeezy” brand. After looking at the different styles his brand offered, I began finding inspiration from that and began designing my own clothes through GIMP. After failing to come up with ideas, I shelved the idea for a while until I could find something worth creating. On my birthday of February 10th, I came up with a couple of names to call my brand but it did not work out. It wasn’t until later this year of 2019 during the month of July, I picked the idea back up and decided to name it “SHYY Planet Clothing”. The point of my clothing brand is to let people know that it is OK to be yourself and not to let others change you. People are going to judge you no matter what, so you mines well live your life the way you want to. I was always a shy person no matter the environment, and people began calling me a shy guy, shy kid, or just kid in general. This is where I adopted the name “Shyy Kidd”. I was mostly judged and called weird for the style of clothing I would wear because I refused to follow other people. I never cared to fit in with others so I wore my own style of clothing so I could stand and be my own person. I always used my worst situations and turned them into blessings. So to conclude this short biography, this is story behind my clothing brand “SHYY Planet”.
