Wrapping up the America250PA National Convening of States and Partners with a Closing Dinner.

Gary Shepherd, 3FM President and CEO, joined the PA Juneteenth Initiative at this outstanding event, celebrating the conclusion of a gathering of partners from across the USA working toward the America250PA mission.

As we look ahead to the Semiquincentennial in 2026, 3rd Floor Media is excited to ensure that the rich history and vibrant contributions of Philadelphia's Black community are front and center.

We look forward to continuing this journey as we prepare for an unforgettable 250th anniversary of our nation!

America250PA is dedicated to leading the Commonwealth's efforts in celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. Shepherd and Salahuddin were in attendance to ensure that diversity is represented and engaged.

3rd Floor Media is proud to participate in this historic moment and is excited to contribute to the Semiquincentennial celebrations in 2026, especially to make sure Philadelphia’s Black community is featured prominently.

3rd Floor Media serves as the communications and media buying partner for the PECO LIHEAP program. Yesterday, 3FM arranged for La Mega radio station (WEMG 105.7) to appear at PECO’s Headquarters to spread awareness about LIHEAP and the support available to help pay energy bills.

Mega radio personality Maria del Pilar and Lourdes Hernandez, Senior Corporate Relations Specialist at PECO, conducted on air call-ins, urging listeners to come down and take advantage of the LIHEAP grants; free money that families aren’t required to pay back!

This year was the first time we took on an intern during the fall semester. Gabby Boone is a freshman and inquired about an internship over the summer. She started in September. I always give an assignment for our students to complete before their time with us ends…Gabby’s was to produce a podcast. She came up with the concept, title, wrote the script, set up the production and is now in the process of editing. As a part of the production process, here she is in the studio, chatting with 3FM’s Director of Special Projects and Account Manager Eron Shepherd for the first episode of her “Burning Questions” podcast.
Gabby says, “I REALLY enjoyed this internship. I learned a lot!”
