Meet Chase!
Although he’s not a cat; he’s a cat lover! About four weeks ago, Chase came into our lives when he started dating one of our beloved volunteers. As he began visiting our adoption center, Chase quickly immersed himself in all the incredible work we do in the rescue.
During his visits, Chase met some of the wonderful kitties waiting for their forever homes and saw firsthand the challenges our rescue faces daily. He witnessed heartbreaking cases of neglect, severe injuries, and abandonment. But he also saw the compassion, dedication, and tireless care we provide to each kitty, whether it involves routine vetting, extensive recovery, or simply giving them a safe space to heal.
Chase was so moved by what he learned that he generously donated $1,000 to our rescue account at our veterinary clinic. This selfless act of kindness from someone who just recently got to know us left us speechless.
From all of us at Whiskers of Love, thank you, Chase, for your incredible generosity. Your donation will make a profound difference in the lives of the kitties in our care.
Pictured with Chase is Bushi, one of our cherished adoption center residents. Bushi has endured more than his fair share of hardship. He was hit by a car, resulting in a jaw injury, and later survived being shot, with a bb lodged in his spine. Despite everything, this resilient boy remains a beacon of love. He simply wants to make biscuits on someone’s lap and soak up affection.
