Happy 9/4 Day! We have a special announcement today from - Virtua94 Records presents MAXIMUM VELOCITY 2 – by ImperiusRex! Coming to digital and CD release September 30.

The engines roar louder. The cities burn brighter. The corporations tighten their grip… but the racers aren’t done yet.

In the blistering sequel to Maximum Velocity (2024), ImperiusRex drops you headfirst into a near-apocalyptic hellscape where mega-conglomerates rule the streets, airwaves, and every beat of your heart. Against them, a renegade crew of freedom-fighter racers hit the asphalt with only one goal: shatter the streets, status quo and rewrite the future at terminal speeds.

Fueled by Y2K-flavored electronica, pulsing dance grooves, and the adrenaline rush of early-2000s racing & extreme sports soundtracks, Maximum Velocity 2 is a high-octane concept album built for all-night drifts, rooftop chases, and the final lap before dawn. Every track is a checkpoint in the rebellion, each synthline a spark, each bass drop: a collision.
