“In my house, there’s a discotheque.”
Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The CDC Live is a residential mock-up of a full-fledged nightclub with all the amenities. Basically we built a discotheque in my living room, complete with intelligent lighting, clear sound, sub-bass, a dream dj console with Technics turntables, Traktor controllers, and disco balls and laser beams. Then there is the archive of nearly 5000 classic house & techno vinyls filling two Ikea Expedit shelves, the perfect bookshelf unit for precious vinyl.
CDC Live is also the headquarters for the Technophilliac Collective and Off The Cuff Recordings, tended to by resident Chris Gallagher, who is also the resident dj. Jokes aside, we specialize in live streaming DJ sets and mixing showcases. Always 100% Live, Raw, Unrehearsed, and Off The Cuff. You never know what might happen in here, hehe.
