I meet today with mixed emotions as my Season 1 finale airs, entitled “Cul-de-sac”. I didn’t want to call it “End of the Road” because it’s not – there will be a Season 2 with some format changes to be announced, but not right away. Just like any good show, everyone needs some time to relax, regroup, and refocus for a bit. In a lot of ways – the episode is about you – the listeners!

In today’s episode, we first revisit some of the most talked about places of the season... find out which ones they were! And then I answer your questions – in which basically you are the host, and I am the guest. Find out if your question and name made it on the air! I have a favor to ask of everyone… I want your questions! Wait, what? (And a chance at a prize below!)

As I looks towards the sunset of Season 1 of “Off the Beaten Path with Chris Hulse”…. I want to do what amounts to a “Q&A” episode… I’m also going to on vacation around the time that episode will air, so it also makes upcoming Episode 26 that much easier to produce!

So please ask me anything relating to travel, or the show (how I produced it, etc.) or how I prepare my trips, or even: if you had the chance, what questions would you have asked the guests I had on the show? Was there a guest that stuck out that left a question unanswered for you?

Also, what were some of the favorite or most interesting places that I spoke about this season? Let me know and I’ll work them into the show somehow - revisit them or find out some more about them!

Since I talked about it during the episode this week, I thought I’d actually show this rarely seen map of all the U.S. counties I’ve been to… about 2500… or almost 80% of the U.S. complete. The different colors represent different years, except for bright green which is birth to 1997. I just completed all the counties in Nevada this month, which is the 30th state to which I’ve been in all the counties in a state. (Note: I had previously finished CT, but the whole state recently revised their counties so the website reset my status there.)
