We created this page 5 years ago after we got married to share our love of travel with the world. It quickly turned into so much more than that. ‘Two Guys on a Plane’ has become a place for humor, heart, and connection with our fellow flight attendant community and beyond. Connecting with you over funny airplane moments and inspiring flight attendant stories has been an absolute blast.

Since COVID, we have been traveling even less than we did before (like many of you!) and we realized that we need to get back to traveling for fun and not just for work! That’s why we decided that we want to plan an epic trip with TrovaTrip - not just for the two of us, but for (and WITH) you!

If you want to join us for an adventure, fill out the survey in the comments below. You don’t have to commit to anything right now, we just want to know who’s interested and what kind of trip you might like to go on. Tell us where you want to go, when you want to go, and how much you’re comfortable spending, so we can create an itinerary that works for everybody.

It’s June which means and also for Andrew! We kicked off the celebrations early with a very quick trip to Boston (Rich’s hometown) to see and have dinner. Now, it’s back to reality (flying) for a few more days until Andrew’s birthday on the 27th. We think we might make seeing a show, whether on Broadway or on tour, our new birthday tradition! What’s your favorite way to celebrate your birthday?!

We have moved around Philly a LOT. In the nine years that we’ve been together, we have lived in 5 different places. We bought our little condo a year ago now. We always knew what we wanted but could never find the right place. While there’s a few things we’d still like to change, the small touches we’ve added are making this place really feel like home. So much so that it’s getting harder and harder than it’s ever been to leave for a work trip! Here’s to one year in our new place… and to many more!

They say you should stop and smell the roses so that you pause and appreciate life. Well so far, this year has been going too fast to even find time to stop! Also, the roses behind us in this photo are fake… but anyway!

This year has been a whirlwind. We’ve been flying like crazy and working a ton, but also finding opportunities to disconnect from the internet and spend uninterrupted time with friends and family. It’s been a busy year, but a good year! We’re grateful for everything life has thrown our way, including the challenges because we have grown in ways we never imagined possible. Plus, there are even more exciting things to come - including a summer full of live music and little getaways!

In true flight attendant fashion, we celebrated Valentine’s Day on a different day this year. With both of us flying - and for different airlines - sometimes it’s hard to coordinate our schedules.

While it’s not uncommon for flight attendants to be away from loved ones on holidays, sometimes being away on those days is just a reminder for us to be even more intentional with the time that we do have together. These moments aren’t any less special because they happen on a different day.

Wherever you are in the world, and whoever you’re celebrating with, we hope your is full of love - self love, friend love, community love, whatever love looks like for you - we hope you’re surrounded by it.

Where in the world are you celebrating NYE?! We’re spending some much-needed time with friends out in Philly.

2022 has been a rollercoaster. There were ups and there were downs - it was a wild ride… but we’re so grateful for every lesson learned and memory made.
