Hear this, favour is key to success. It is not attracted by prayer and fasting. It is attracted by selfless service. Potiphar woke up one day and put Joseph, a slave, in charge of his whole household. He didn’t do it because the boy was a Jew or because YAHWEH was his God. He did it because Joseph was serving him selflessly and helping him succeed. To be useless to people and be praying for favour is a product of religious deception! Have a thoughtful day.

A very quick one for all parents! Know that respecting your children does not mean you don’t discipline them. It means you discipline them in a respectful way. No matter how you correct them, your children must not doubt your love for them. If all they see is punishment and rage, then you are not disciplining them. You are losing them! Rich people surround themselves with other rich people because they want those who will challenge them. The more we seek those who will feel sorry for us, the more our situation worsens. Only when we are challenged does the warrior inside us arise and do great things. Think about it.

A word to reassure someone today. Listen up, just because you still feel guilty over something you did in the past does not mean God has not forgiven you. It is not our heart that tells us when we are forgiven. It is God’s word that tells us. If you have confessed the sin to God and asked his forgiveness, then according to his word, he has forgiven you whether your feelings agree with that or not. We walk by faith and not by feelings. Stop beating yourself down. Cheer up! Enjoy your day.

Successful people care more about moving forward than about proving that they are intelligent. Just a quick reminder for us all, that being outstanding means that it is difficult to replace you. The way to get there is by preparing and asking for the toughest assignments. If you do easy things, anyone can challenge you. If you do tough things, only the brave and determined will dare you. God wants you to be the head, to be the best. You cannot get there by being scared of difficult situations. Tough times give you opportunity to distinguish yourself. Don’t complain about them. Stretch and excel in them.
